Carolyn A.H. Bourdow

Carolyn Bourdow is of counsel with Bourdow, Bowen & Ellis, P.C. She received her law degree from the University of Virginia Law School and her undergraduate degree from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania. She has been a lecturer in the trust and estate area for the University of Virginia continuing legal education program and for area professional and civic organizations. She has been a contributing author of Estate Planning in Virginia, a two volume book for use by Virginia attorneys, published and reprinted several times by University of Virginia CLE. A past president of the Metropolitan Richmond Women's Bar Association, she is also a past member of the Estate Planning Council of Richmond and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys. She served for many years as a Trustee of the Commonwealth Community Trust (for families of persons with disabilities).
